I wanted to share with you a podcast that I did with Jason Preston on “We the People”. It’s not my first podcast but I’m trying to get better at this. Please never mind all my “Um’s” and “absolutely’s” that I used ad nauseam during the recording. I’m still not a fan of public speaking. I normally don’t wear glasses, but I did so that I look smarter.
Much of the speech I’m doing on February 10th at the SRA seminar will cover some of the same topics but with more substance. Please attend in person or online where I will get into more details on the legislative reforms we are proposing to help survivors get justice. We need your help. This is going to be an uphill battle as we know many politicians are involved in ritual abuse and they certainly don’t want HB 196 to pass.
Tickets to this free event are still available. Go to https://tinyurl.com/relentess24 for the in person event or to https://tinyurl.com/relentlessZoom at 6pm MST on February 10 to view the live stream. Spread the word to your family and friends as this affects people all over the US. This isn’t just an LDS problem, it’s a church problem. The good people in the various denominations need to come down hard on their leadership if they find out this is happening in their church. Children come first — not a religious institution, prophet, or leader. There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing. If you know this is going on in your church, you have an obligation to speak up.
Remember, that Goel from Investigations in Ritual Abuse, will be there via Zoom to answer your most pressing questions regarding his investigations. We will see him in full array without his sunglasses. Join us for the reveal!
Jason Preston will be our emcee and you’ll hear from two survivors about their healing journeys.
Hope to see you there!
I agree with Dan. There were no distracting behaviors that I noticed, and you gave a great overview of the problems in Utah.
Cindy, I think you did a great job! --Dan
