Injustice in Utah Courts Against Mothers

A Victim Advocate's Perspective on SRA

All statements are considered alleged until proven in a court of law. This content can be triggering for some. I am not anti-LDS. The majority of LDS members, some who are my friends, have no idea that this is going on.

There is something new I’ve discovered within the past two months. It has come to my attention that there is injustice in the Utah courts against mothers caught up in the LDS Church of Satan groups. I’m sure this doesn’t come to a surprise to the dear readers of this Substack. As I’ve mentioned before, when the wives of satanists are fed up with the abuse, they will divorce their husbands. These women were groomed when they were teens to become wives to much older men or to their peers within their ritual abuse group. The marriages are arranged. This is to perpetuate the SRA within certain family lines and create beneficial alignments.

These alignments and marriages are an attempt to keep the bloodline pure. One of the unintended consequences comes when these groups breed too often with too close of family members resulting in child birth deformities. This tends to be more of a problem within polygamy groups such as the Kingston and FLDS clans. Inbreeding is well documented in articles online. When a niece marries her uncle, a child born in that union may be deformed. Studies have confirmed an increase in several genetic disorders due to inbreeding such as blindness, hearing loss, neonatal diabetes, limb malformations, disorders of sex development, schizophrenia, mental retardation, cleft palate, and heart defects among others.

The most disturbing of these genetic disorders is Fumarase Deficiency. Fumarase Deficiency is a condition that primarily affects the nervous system, especially the brain. Affected infants may have an abnormally small head size (microcephaly) abnormal brain structure, severe developmental delay, weak muscle tone (hypotonia), and failure to gain weight and grow at the expected rate. They may also experience seizures. Some people with this disorder have unusual facial features, including a prominent forehead, low-set ears, a small jaw, widely spaced eyes (ocular hypertelorism), and a depressed nasal bridge. Babies born with this condition usually don’t live very long.

Back to our main subject. Marriage within the satanist groups is never healthy. The couple is told to have children which they do in short order. These children are then often used in rituals as well. It’s usually the husband who is allowing this. The mother will dissociate while the children are taken away to be abused. The mom eventually figures out what is going on. This is when divorce is mentioned for the first time.

Child custody is always an issue. The wives know full well what is happening to the children so there is a custody battle in the courtroom to protect their kids. Both sides lawyer up. The husband usually gets top-notch lawyers who are part of the SRA system. The mother, who doesn’t have a lot of money because she was a stay-at-home mom, has to get a court appointed attorney or one that is more affordable. But make no mistake, this is a David vs Goliath moment.

The issue is that the justice system in Utah is stacked against mothers and women in general. We are all aware that Utah is a patriarchal state. Lawyers generally have personal relationships with the predominantly male judges. I had one survivor tell me that in many cases the female judges are much harsher on females than males. You would think the female judges would have more sympathy for women….nah! The goal of divorce lawyers is to suck as much money out of the clients before the divorce is finalized. It’s also a well known tactic that the lawyers will try to overwhelm and discourage the defendant or plaintiff by causing delays, requesting additional information, time, and making false accusations to win cases. The judge can also cause delays by requiring tests and procedures. For instance, if the husband says the wife is crazy and presents some plausible evidence, the judge can order a psychiatric evaluation of the mother. He can request drug testing, evaluations of the children, forensic exams, document requests, expert testimony, etc. which all sounds legit until you realize that the mother is being set up.

Let me explain. There are in the system what are called “court evaluators.” The court evaluator is frequently described as the “eyes and ears of the court”. Their job, in essence, is that of an investigator, tasked with gathering detailed information about the case to assist the court in reaching its decision as to whether a guardian should be appointed.  In the case I refer to below, the evaluator was a psychologist who interviewed the children and mother and then reported their findings. But what if you are assigned an evaluator who is part of the satanic system? What if that evaluator is a corrupt, compromised individual who is getting favors and money to perform a certain way? What if that evaluator produces fake evidence or misleading conclusions in an attempt to make the mother look bad? What if the children’s statements are suppressed? Do you see my point? This has happened to mothers I have interviewed.

When Silvia went to court she was forced by her husband and the judge to have her and her children evaluated by two court appointed agencies. Both agencies were private and run by allegedly corrupt staff. Staff member A performed the drug testing which was falsified. The staff member didn't even have a license to perform such drug testing. Many of the psychologists contracted out were corrupt evaluators and presented false findings against Silvia. Some of these psychologists were and are connected to local universities.

You know what else happens? The mothers are being sent to psych hospitals for evaluation. There are many hospitals in the Salt Lake City area that are allegedly part of the system. Some women told me that they were put through a battery of mind control exercises in an attempt to “reprogram” them into compliance. Additionally, the mothers were admitted into these hospitals involuntarily for far longer than what is legally allowed where they were subjected to antipsychotic medications such as Zyprexa and Geodon. (I know this because I’ve seen the medical records). Geodon has a black box warning which can be fatal if mixed with other medications. Women who have taken these drugs have said they felt they were going to die while at the hospital and no one on the staff seemed to care. One survivor said her respiration was significantly diminished. Both women who were put on these medications told me that after they got out of the psych hospital, they had long term adverse reactions that took months to resolve. They mentioned that they felt their brain was damaged by these drugs. Now imagine going through that and then navigating a court trial.

Remember when I said some police are involved? Clients have claimed that police have falsely accused them of assault and have taken them to jail rather than the abusive husband. Police have dismissed the claims of the mother. Don’t think these husbands (or wives) aren’t beyond setting up their spouses. I have heard husbands planting evidence to make the wife appear dangerous and unstable. It’s a nightmare scenario. You have to understand, the continuation of these bloodline families is critical, and there is no limit to what these perpetrators will do to get the children. The more pure the child is, the more money they fetch on the black market. In addition the perpetrators are trying to raise future cult leaders.

Let’s move on to lawyers. Do I need to explain that there are corrupt lawyers out there? I hope not. My clients have hired lawyers for their divorce case, and even then, they find out that their attorney was undermining them because they too were compromised. I can’t fail to tell you enough how lawyers can botch up a case for their client. I have witnessed this first-hand. That is why survivors need victim advocates by their side. That is why children need a guardian ad litem. I understand the importance of lawyers. A good attorney is worth their weight in gold. A lawyer friend of mine told me, “You won’t know how important a lawyer is until you need one yourself.” Don’t ever try to represent yourself in any case. You will lose.

If you have a court appointed attorney and they are not advocating for you correctly, you can request to be reassigned. The judge gets to decide whether your request is accepted or denied. You can write the judge a letter and clearly and rationally explain your concerns and see what happens. All letters, email and other forms of written communication sent to a judge should be filed with the Clerk of Courts and copies of your communication should be sent to all the attorneys and litigants in the case. Please be aware your written communication may become a part of the PUBLIC RECORD.

Your other option if you can’t afford an attorney is to contact your local bar association. They may be able to point you in the direction of pro or low bono legal services. Some offer discounted consultations with attorneys who may also be able to guide you to the resources you need.  For a struggling single mom, a pro bono lawyer may be your best option. Nonetheless, in most divorce cases, the custody is split between the father and mother with the mother accounting for the majority of custody time. The heartache of these mothers is that each time they send their children to their spouse’s home, they are grieved by what may be happening to them. One would think that calling DCFS or the police would solve the problem. Not so. It’s way more complicated than that, but that is for a future post. You have to remember, the satanic groups usually have a lot of money through ill-gotten gains and they usually have contacts in every government agency. Like I said, it’s a David vs Goliath moment. I hope you now realize how difficult it is for people to get out of the cults.
